The dVoiceBox Studio specialises in recording vocalists, voice-overs and the spoken word.

dVoiceBox Studio, based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, is the specialist for vocalist and voice recording. To get good quality, great sounding voice and spoken word projects we use professional quality equipment. Our sound booth is a professional Esmono Sound Attenuation Room (as used by Sky TV and other broadcasters). This high quality space is constructed using special acoustically treated panels to provide a perfect environment for voice recording.

The booth is ideal for single voice-over sessions while also large enough for conducting interviews or for drama productions involving several actors. It is also perfect for recording vocalist and singing performances.

dVoicebox has just undergone an upgrade with the installation of a new Mac Pro computer and MOTU audio interface. The Mac Pro is also running a whole suite of Logic 8 software to help provide a professional quality final recording.
For recording the studio uses a range of professional condenser microphones (Audio Technica, Rode, Shure, AKG) routed through the dVoiceBox 32 track Soundcraft Ghost mixing console. A range of out board processors, and channel strips (including Antares AVP-1 and TLA 5051) and effects are also available if required.

Recordings are digital quality using a Mac-based system. Final recordings can be burnt to CD, provided in a number of data file formats including MP3, WAV and AIFF or recorded to DAT.

The dVoiceBox ISDN studio. Hire the studio to connect via ISDN with voice artists anywhere in the world. Or if you are a local voice artist use the ISDN connection to hook up with production studios, radio stations or TV companies. The studio uses software codec AudioTX Communicator - which is compatible with all professional ISDN codecs. A sound engineer is always in attendance for ISDN sessions.
